Turtle Wax
Turtle Wax is an American company that manufactures and sells a wide range of automotive appearance products. The company was founded in Chicago in 1941 by Benjamin Hirsch.
The name “Turtle Wax” was chosen to represent the protective, hard-shell finish that the wax provided to a car’s surface, much like a turtle’s shell.
The company’s product line has expanded significantly over the years to include:
Car Waxes and Polishes: The original product that made the company famous, including traditional paste waxes and modern spray-on formulas.
Cleaning Products: Car wash soaps, interior cleaners, glass cleaners, and bug and tar removers.
Compounds and Scratch Removers: Products designed to correct paint imperfections and restore a vehicle’s finish.
Specialty Products: Items for tire and wheel care, leather conditioning, and headlight restoration.
Advanced Formulas: More recent product lines, such as the “Hybrid Solutions” series, incorporate new technologies like ceramic and graphene to provide enhanced protection and shine.
Turtle Wax has grown from a small operation to a globally recognized brand, with products distributed in over 120 countries.
